- Catalog Creation Wizard
- Host your catalog on any server in the world
- Gamma GenCat creates catalogs that are designed to be used
with Gamma Commerce, so you can host your pages on any web
server in the world. If you want to change your ISP, no problem!
Just move your pages to your new server and your Gamma Burst
commerce account keeps functioning normally.
- A regular PC software application
- Gamma GenCat is computer software that you download and
install on your own computer. Once installed, you don't need
to connect to the Internet to use it. Take you time and design
your catalog offline- then upload it to your web site. It
couldn't be easier.
- Easy, user friendly interface
- Build your catalog without any HTML or programming. Just
enter all your product information into our simple, descriptive,
design wizard then generate your catalog instantly.
- Unlimited number of products and product variants
- You can sell as many or as few items as your want in your
catalog. Each product gets its own page and you can even create
product variants (e.g. a shirt with S, M, L, and XL sizes).
- Unlimited number of categories and sub-categories
- If you are selling a lot of merchandise, you may want to
divide your product line into logical categories. If you have
a lot of categories, you can even create sub-categories. Your
can place items in just one or in multiple categories- your
choice.
- Optional product photos and descriptions
- No online catalog would be complete without pictures and
colorful descriptive text. All you have to do is upload your
photos and text with our user-friendly web based wizard and
our software will automatically resize them to be used with
the catalog template you choose.
- Customizable color themes
- You decide the look and feel of your catalog. You choose
background colors and graphics and you can specify text and
link colors and fonts as well. You have total control, so
if you change your mind, you can change your catalog's look
any time.
- Several catalog templates to choose from
- Gamma GenCat offers several templates from which your can
choose for the layout of your products and categories. You
can select from among several frames, non-frames, and text
only templates.
- Design your own catalog templates
- Although several templates are provided with GenCat, if
you are a web site designer or you just want to customize
the look of your catalog, you can create your own templates
using our tutorial.
- Access to private catalog administration section
- Like all Gamma Burst customers, you will have your own
private, password protected administration section. There
you can update your catalog and see sales and customer reports.
It is available online 24 hours a day.
- Works with Gamma Billing (optional)
- If you want to charge your customers in real time, then
you can also use Gamma Billing and their credit cards will
be charged when people place orders at your store.
- Works with Associates and other marketing services (optional)
